Fanlee Ball Reed, 62, of Hubble Road in Stanford, KY passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born November 9, 1938, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Tinsley (Bernice Sprinkles) Ball, Sr. Mrs. Reed was the former co-owner and operator of Reed Electric with her husband Jim. She worked as a bookkeeper with Keith's Supply and later worked with the staff at the Lincoln County Court Clerk's Office. Mrs. Reed was a member of Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, where she served on numerous administrative boards. Survivors include her husband, former Lincoln County Judge Executive James R. (Jim) Reed of Stanford; her son, Jim Reed of Louisville; her brother, Rev. Tinsley Timothy Ball, Jr. of Duncan, OK; 4 sisters, Mrs. George O. (Kate) Spoonamore III of Stanford, Mrs. Mae Reed of Danville, Mrs. Lyda Blanton of Orleans, IN, and Alice Jean Smith of West Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews. |
